Friends of The NILE

Why Friends

Organisations are fine but it's the people in them that really count.

Friends are people just like you – interested in what is going on around them; keen to do more and learn more; to build networks of support so that more people in the Grassroots can benefit from a better quality of life. Friends work closely with The NILE Project, but have interests and involvement that span a broad range of development issues.

Who is it for

Friends is open to everyone. There are no age, country, political, social or economic restrictions. And it's entirely free too! So no matter where you live use this site to keep in touch with former work mates, school and university friends, neighbours and colleagues. What ever your connection to Africa – interested observer or strident global citizen, become a Friend today and support the work of The NILE African Development Organisation and its partners. Find out more about our work
